How to make a chart
- Type your data into the table, or paste it or open a CSV file. The first column holds the labels.
- Choose the chart type, and add a title, axis labels and colours.
- Download the chart as a PNG image.
Questions
How should my data be laid out?
Labels in the first column, and one column of numbers for each series, with the column names in the first row. For a scatter chart, the first column holds the x values.
Can I paste from a spreadsheet?
Yes. Copy the cells, including the row of column names, paste them into the box and select Fill the table.
What sizes are the images?
The PNG is 800 by 500 pixels, and the 2× version is 1600 by 1000 pixels, for sharp results on high-resolution screens and in print.
Can I download the chart as SVG?
No. The charts are drawn as images, so PNG is the format offered. The data can be downloaded as CSV.
Is my data uploaded?
No. The chart is drawn inside your browser, and your data is not saved or sent anywhere.
