Privacy policy

Toolgrave is made by Corbit. This page explains what we collect when you use the site, and what we never collect.
Your files and text
Every tool runs inside your browser. The files you choose and the text you type are read and changed on your own device. They are never uploaded, so we never see them, store them or pass them on. That includes their names.
What we count
To see which tools are used and whether they work, each tool sends a short note when you use it. It says:
- which tool it was, and whether a job started, finished, failed or was cancelled;
- the kind of error, if one happened;
- your browser's family (such as Chrome or Safari) and whether you are on a phone or a computer;
- a rough size band of the file, such as "1–10 MB", and how long the job took.
It never contains a file, a file name, any text you typed, your IP address or anything else that identifies you. We also count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies.
What our host sees
Toolgrave is served by Cloudflare. Like any website's host, Cloudflare receives your IP address and browser details in order to deliver the pages to you. We do not store them. Cloudflare's own privacy policy covers how it handles them.
What stays in your browser
Toolgrave sets no cookies. Your browser keeps two things for you, on your device only:
- the names of the last six tools you used, so the home page can show them under "Recently used". Choose Clear there to remove them;
- a copy of the site and the parts some tools need, so the tools open quickly and work offline.
You can remove both at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser's settings.
Camera, microphone and screen
Only the Screen Recorder, the Voice Recorder and the QR Code Scanner ask to use your screen, microphone or camera, and only after you press their start button. What they record or see stays on your device until you download it.
Ads
There are no ads on Toolgrave today. If that changes, we will update this page first.
