Questions
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The images are taken out inside your browser, and your files never leave your device.
Are the images made smaller?
No. Each image comes out at the size it is stored in the PDF. Photos stored as JPG are saved exactly as they are.
Why are some images PNG?
Images that are not stored as JPG are saved as PNG, which keeps every pixel and any transparency.
How is this different from PDF to JPG?
PDF to JPG takes a picture of each whole page. This tool saves only the pictures inside the pages, at their own size.
Why is an image missing?
A few rare formats, such as JPEG 2000 and fax scans, can't be saved yet. The result says how many were left out.
