Questions

How is the GPA worked out?

Each grade's points are multiplied by the course's credits, added up, and divided by the total credits. The result is rounded to two decimals.

Which grade scale does it use?

The common US 4.0 scale, with A at 4.0, B+ at 3.3 and C at 2.0. Schools differ, so you can change the points for any grade under Grade scale.

What does Weighted GPA do?

It adds 1.0 point to each course you mark as honours, AP or IB, so an A in such a course counts as 5.0. A failing grade gets no extra point.

How does the cumulative GPA work?

Enter your GPA so far and the credits it covers. They are counted together with the courses on the page.

Why is a row not counted?

A course needs both a grade and credits above 0. A row missing either is named under the result and left out.
