Which Morse code does it use?
The international Morse code of Recommendation ITU-R M.1677-1, with letters, figures, punctuation and service signals such as <SK> for end of work.
What happens to characters Morse code does not have?
They are kept in square brackets and listed above the result, so nothing goes missing without a sign.
How is the speed measured?
In words per minute, using the standard word PARIS, which is 50 dot lengths long. At 20 words per minute a dot lasts 60 milliseconds.
Is my text sent anywhere, or the sound recorded?
No. The translation and the sound are made inside your browser, and nothing is recorded or sent.
