Which way does it turn?
Clockwise. 90° turns the top of the picture to the right, and 270° turns it to the left.
Will it play the right way up everywhere?
Yes. The picture itself is turned, not just a note in the file that some players ignore.
Will the sound change?
No. The sound is copied as it is. Only the picture is re-encoded.
Why does the first video take longer?
The first time, your browser downloads the video engine. After that it is kept, so the next video starts at once.
