How to watermark a PDF
- Choose the PDF.
- Type the watermark text, or choose an image, and set where and how it appears.
- Check the preview, then download the watermarked PDF.
Questions
Can I watermark only some pages?
Yes. Write the pages in the Pages field, such as 1-3, 5. The preview dims the pages that won't be stamped.
Which images can I use?
PNG and JPG. A PNG with a transparent background works best, and the image keeps its shape at any size.
Can the watermark be removed?
It is added on top of the page content, so someone with a PDF editor could remove it. It marks a document; it doesn't lock it.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The watermark is added inside your browser, and the PDF never leaves your device.
