Questions
What does it remove?
The author, who last saved it, the revision number, the company, the manager and the total editing time; any custom properties; all comments, with the list of people who wrote them; and the names and dates on tracked changes.
What happens to tracked changes?
They stay in the document, without the names and dates of whoever made them. Accept or reject them in your word processor to make them part of the text.
Does it change my document's text or layout?
No. The text, formatting, images, headers and footers are kept exactly as they were. Only the hidden parts listed above are taken out.
Are my documents uploaded?
No. They are cleaned inside your browser, and never leave your device.
